Broad Participation of BRICS Countries Expected at the Eastern Economic Forum

From September 3 to 6, 2025, Vladivostok will host the 10th Eastern Economic Forum.

The development of Russia’s Far East has traditionally been a matter of vital importance for the country and serves as a key strategic region for fostering cooperation among BRICS nations.

At the Forum, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and scholars from BRICS countries will join forces to discuss issues related to enhancing monetary sovereignty, addressing economic restrictions, reducing dependence on geopolitical challenges and external risks, and expanding the use of national currencies in settlements.

In recent years, BRICS countries have become major trading partners for much of the world, and their economic influence is expected to continue growing.

Examples of events to be held at the Forum in support of BRICS cooperation include roundtables such as “Russia – India” and “Russia – China”, “International Territories of Growth and Transport Corridors”, “Asia – Gateway to the World: The Role of the Asian Continent in the Global Media Landscape”, “International Youth Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific”, “Course to the East: Biotech Growth Drivers”, and many others.

The project B2Bricsplus.com, developed by Skwerup Capital Partners LLP, will enable entrepreneurs from BRICS countries participating in the Forum to join efforts on a single platform. Thanks to the leadership of Project Director Ankur Goel, the initiative will bring together international activities in one ecosystem.
